Excitement is building as we approach Catholic Schools Week. Collections of peanut butter and items for the military are building in every classroom. In addition to our collections, classroom doors are being decorated to celebrate this year’s theme, Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service.

Our virtue of the week, respect, reminds us that God created all people. He created us differently for reasons and purposes we may not understand. What we must always remember is that God’s will for us is to show respect to everyone.

The Virtue of the Week: Respect means treating others as you want to be treated. Respect is recognizing and responding to the God-given dignity of each person.

Scripture Reference: Matthew 7:12 – “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.”

Have an amazing week!
